DAE Completes Sale-and-Leaseback of 10 Boeing 737-9s with United Airlines

Dubai Aerospace Enterprise has delivered the tenth and final Boeing 737-9 to United Airlines, completing a sale-and-leaseback mandate involving 10 aircraft. The Dubai-based lessor completed the programme in three months from document execution to final fulfilment, while expanding its leased fleet with the US carrier to 26 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320-family aircraft.

The transaction was executed in partnership with Equator and Mustang. DAE Capital will act as servicer, managing the lessor’s ongoing relationship with United Airlines for the aircraft.

Under the sale-and-leaseback structure, United sold the aircraft to DAE and continues to operate them under lease agreements. The arrangement provides the airline with financing while allowing it to retain operational use of the aircraft without owning them.

DAE did not disclose the financial value of the transaction or individual lease terms. The completed mandate follows the agreement signed earlier in 2026 and represents the delivery of the final aircraft rather than a new contract.
