Exploits Valley Air Services (EVAS) is presenting its Medimax Beechcraft 1900D air-ambulance conversion at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas, using the business-aviation convention to introduce the Newfoundland-based company’s completed aircraft to US air-medical operators. EVAS developed the conversion and is displaying it with US sales partners during the 20–22 October event.
Medimax is configured for patient transport and includes a powered lift to assist with loading. Its cabin can be arranged in multiple layouts, allowing operators to adapt the aircraft to different medical-transport missions.
The programme positions the Beechcraft 1900D, originally designed as a regional turboprop airliner, as a configurable platform for dedicated air-ambulance operations. EVAS is seeking to extend the conversion’s market beyond Canada through sales channels focused on specialised air-medical customers.
The display provides a public showcase for a completed aircraft rather than only a modification concept or maintenance capability. EVAS has not disclosed the aircraft’s registration, pricing, production schedule, certification status or the identity of its US sales partners.
