Dviation wins Riyadh Air line maintenance role in Kuala Lumpur

Dviation Technics has been appointed line maintenance provider for Riyadh Air at Kuala Lumpur International Airport as the Saudi carrier launches service to Southeast Asia. The agreement covers comprehensive support for Riyadh Air’s Kuala Lumpur operation, with the airline’s inaugural flight to the city beginning on 31 July and operated three times a week using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners powered by GEnx engines.

The new contract gives Riyadh Air local maintenance support at the start of the route, helping to underpin dispatch reliability, turnaround performance and day-to-day operational continuity in Malaysia. It also extends Dviation Technics’ role in the region as Riyadh Air expands its network into Southeast Asia.
