Duncan Aviation has placed a prepaid order for 40 Gogo Galileo HDX satellite-connectivity systems, giving Gogo its largest single maintenance, repair and overhaul order of 2026. The business-aircraft service provider plans to hold the equipment in inventory to respond more flexibly to installation demand from aircraft owners and operators across its MRO network.
Galileo HDX uses an electronically steered antenna and operates through Eutelsat OneWeb’s enterprise-grade low-Earth-orbit network. Its compact, lightweight and low-power design is intended for light jets and turboprops as well as larger-cabin business aircraft. Duncan Aviation has already installed HDX and Gogo’s full-duplex Galileo system at its main facilities in Lincoln, Nebraska; Battle Creek, Michigan; and Provo, Utah, along with selected satellite locations.
AIN reports throughput of up to 60 Mbps downstream and 11 Mbps upstream. Three-year-locked service plans range from $3,500 per month for 25 GB, with overage charges, to $10,500 per month for unlimited data. Duncan Aviation modifications sales manager Nate Klenke cited expected customer demand and the scheduling flexibility provided by having systems available, while expressing confidence in the technology and Gogo’s long-term support. The order does not identify customer aircraft, installation dates or the allocation of units among facilities.
