Dnata has turned its existing cargo control centre in Dubai into a Cargo Integrated Command Centre at its Dubai International Airport hub, giving teams a centralised view of cargo operations across Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central. The upgrade brings together operational data in a single dashboard that refreshes every 10 seconds, supporting faster resource allocation, earlier bottleneck detection and quicker responses to changing conditions.
The centre oversees cargo operations that handled more than 1 million tonnes in the 2025/26 financial year, alongside 189,000 flight movements and 46,000 truck movements. It draws on dnata’s internal cargo systems to track activity across facilities, landside operations and truck traffic, improving visibility for teams managing a network that continues to grow in volume and complexity.
The move builds on dnata’s wider digitalisation push in Dubai cargo operations, including earlier automation initiatives and centralised screening control functions. By deepening digital oversight of cargo flows across two of the emirate’s main airfreight gateways, dnata is sharpening control over a business that sits at the centre of regional and international logistics.
