Dassault Falcon Service marks decade at Mérignac with 600 maintenance jobs

Dassault Falcon Service has marked 10 years of operations at its Mérignac facility near Bordeaux, where the business-aviation maintenance site opened in 2016 to support Dassault’s Falcon fleet. The centre has completed 600 maintenance projects over the decade, including 66 C-checks for Falcon 7X and Falcon 8X aircraft.

The Mérignac base has become one of Dassault’s key heavy-maintenance locations in southwestern France, handling inspections, modifications, completions and repairs for Falcon aircraft. Its workload underlines the role of aftermarket support in the operator relationship, particularly for the latest Falcon models.

The facility was inaugurated as Dassault expanded its maintenance network to match fleet growth. With capacity to accommodate multiple aircraft at once, it has gradually built scale in heavy-maintenance work rather than relying solely on line maintenance. The 66 C-checks completed at the site show a steady concentration on the 7X and 8X programmes, which remain central to Dassault’s long-range business-jet support strategy.
