CALC Agrees to Sell Four Aircraft in Three Transactions

China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has agreed to sell four aircraft in three transactions involving buyers in Japan and China. The assets comprise an Airbus A321-271NX, an Airbus A320-200 and two Boeing 737-800s, with the disposals scheduled for completion or delivery between the end of October and the end of December 2026.

Under an agreement signed on 2 October, CALC will sell the A321neo to Japan’s Sojitz Corporation through a wholly owned special-purpose vehicle. Completion is expected by 31 December. A separate agreement signed on 16 October covers the A320-200, which is being sold to Tianjin Jinqian Lease, a subsidiary of Sichuan Jinshi Leasing, with completion due by 31 October.

The two Boeing aircraft are being sold to Chongqing Yangtze River No. 1 Aircraft Leasing, a subsidiary of Yangtze River Finance Leasing. Those agreements were signed on 30 September, and delivery is scheduled by 30 November.

CALC classifies the disposals as part of its regular aircraft trading activities, including portfolio management, leasing, purchase-and-leaseback transactions and aircraft asset management. All three agreements are discloseable transactions under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, with transaction ratios above 5% but below 25%. The sale prices, aircraft serial numbers and existing lease arrangements were not disclosed.
