Boeing names Celso Ferrer as Latin America and Caribbean president

Boeing has appointed Celso Ferrer as president of Boeing Latin America and the Caribbean, effective 4 September 2026. Ferrer will oversee the company’s operations, strategy and regional presence across Latin America and the Caribbean, as Boeing looks to expand its commercial footprint in a market central to its airline relationships.

Ferrer brings more than 20 years of aviation industry experience to the role, including his previous tenure as chief executive of GOL. The move places a senior airline executive at the centre of Boeing’s regional leadership as the manufacturer continues to deepen engagement with carriers, suppliers and customers across a geographically and commercially important part of the Americas.

The appointment follows Boeing’s broader pattern of leadership changes across its business units as it aligns senior management with commercial priorities. No successor details or reporting changes were disclosed.
