BeauTech Power Systems has appointed Francesco Baccarani as director of asset management for Asia-Pacific, placing him in charge of the company’s regional engine leasing and asset management activity from Singapore. The move brings a veteran with more than 20 years of aviation and powerplant management experience into a role focused on technical support and customer-facing operations across the APAC market.
Baccarani’s remit covers work with customers, lessors, airlines and industry partners, alongside technical expertise for BeauTech’s leasing portfolio. His appointment is aimed at strengthening the company’s engine leasing and asset management capabilities in a region where demand for flexible engine support and lifecycle management remains central to airline operations.
He joins from SGI Aviation, where he was vice-president technical engines. In that role, he handled engine asset management, shop visit oversight, technical due diligence, pre-purchase inspections, engine redeliveries and fleet support. His background includes work on the PW4000, CFM56, V2500, CF6-80 and CF34 engine families.
