Avora Aviation seals A320 sale-leaseback deal with FTAI

Avora Aviation has completed a sale-and-leaseback transaction with FTAI Aviation involving one Airbus A320, MSN 5931, in a deal linked to Fly2Sky Airlines’ fleet renewal and restructuring programme for 2026. The aircraft is expected to operate for Fly2Sky and enter service later in August, while the arrangement also supports Avora’s wider aviation platform across leasing, trading and airline operations.

The transaction forms part of Avora’s fleet and capital management strategy, freeing capital for further expansion across its business. Avora, which is based in Dubai, has been building a broader aviation platform that spans aircraft leasing, trading and airline operations.

FTAI’s Strategic Capital business has separately outlined financing for acquisitions of on-lease, mid-life 737NG and A320ceo aircraft from August 2026, providing commercial context for the latest deal. No details were disclosed on delivery location, lease term, pricing or whether the aircraft sits within a specific special-purpose vehicle.
