Aircraft Services Group has opened a new $25 million headquarters and private hangar complex at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport in Florida. The facility gives the charter, management and sales company its first dedicated base after years of leasing hangar space around the US, and is designed as a private FBO for clients using business aviation services at KSRQ.
The complex comprises a 30,000-square-foot hangar and a 5,000-square-foot terminal with a private lounge, kitchen and offices. An onsite 20,000-gallon fuel farm supports fueling, GPU, lav service, potable water and onsite US Customs, while the layout offers climate-controlled, fully secured hangarage and direct vehicle-to-aircraft access.
The Sarasota site gives Aircraft Services Group a fixed home for its expanding private aviation operation and extends its presence in Florida’s business aviation market. A nearby parcel could accommodate a second hangar in future, although that expansion has not been confirmed.
