Airbus recorded 202 gross commercial aircraft orders in October 2026 and delivered 74 aircraft to 45 customers. Deliveries for the year reached 621 aircraft to 91 customers by the end of the month. The order total included major commitments for the A320neo family, as well as widebody aircraft, while the monthly delivery figure kept the manufacturer’s handover programme moving into the final two months of the year.
Avolon placed a firm order for 75 A320neo-family aircraft and 35 A330-900s. Aviation Capital Group ordered 75 A320neo-family aircraft, while Biman Bangladesh Airlines ordered six A321neos and four A350-900s. The October tally also included orders from Atlantic Airways and an undisclosed customer.
For January to October, Airbus had accumulated 1,376 gross orders and 1,305 net orders, after cancellations. The monthly totals do not disclose the financial value of the orders or when the aircraft are due for delivery. October’s 74 deliveries brought the manufacturer to 621 handovers for the year, across its commercial aircraft range.
