Airbus SE reported higher first-half 2026 revenue and profit on 29 July 2026, as stronger commercial aircraft deliveries and a solid Defence and Space performance lifted results for the six months ended 30 June. Consolidated revenue rose 12% year on year to €33.2 billion, reported EBIT reached €2.745 billion, and net income increased to €2.243 billion. The company kept its full-year guidance unchanged despite describing the environment as complex and fast-changing.
Airbus delivered 351 commercial aircraft in the half, up from 306 in the same period of 2025. Reported EPS improved to €2.84, while free cash flow before customer financing was negative at €1.2 billion, indicating cash generation remained under pressure even as profitability improved.
The company said the stronger first-half performance mainly reflected the higher delivery level and the contribution from Defence and Space. It also reported that second-quarter 2026 revenue rose 28%, supported by increased commercial aircraft deliveries and the Defence and Space contribution.
Airbus said the first-half outcome kept it on track for its annual objectives.
