Air Canada will launch seasonal nonstop flights between Montréal–Trudeau International Airport and Seville, Spain, on 8 September 2027, using its Airbus A321XLR aircraft. The service will operate three times weekly initially, increasing to four weekly flights from 1 October, creating the only nonstop air connection between Seville and North America. Seville will become Air Canada’s fifth Spanish destination.
Flight AC958 is scheduled to depart Montréal at 20:30 and arrive in Seville at 09:30 the following day. The return AC959 will leave Seville at 12:45 and reach Montréal at 14:40. The published schedule covers the period through 8 January 2028, with service resuming on 18 February and continuing into June 2028, subject to change.
The route will provide direct access to Andalusia while supporting connections at Air Canada’s Montréal hub to destinations across North America, the Caribbean and Latin America. The carrier’s Spanish network also includes Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Tenerife.
The addition forms part of Air Canada’s wider Montréal expansion for summer 2027, which includes previously announced services to Basel-Mulhouse and Dubrovnik, as well as planned year-round extensions for Tenerife, Lima and Guatemala City. The A321XLR deployment enables the airline to serve a secondary European market with a narrowbody aircraft designed for long-range operations.
