Air Canada has opened its first premium lounge at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, adding a 97-seat Air Canada Café to the terminal on 16 June 2026. The 3,616-square-foot space is the airline’s seventh café and extends its lounge modernisation programme into a market that previously had no dedicated premium customer facility.
Designed for eligible domestic travellers, the lounge pairs productivity seating and power at every seat, including USB-C charging, with a self-service hot and cold food station, full bar and locally sourced menu items. Air Canada has tied the concept to Québec-based and Indigenous suppliers, while Plaza Premium Group operates the site.
The opening gives operators a clearer template for compact, branded premium space at secondary stations.
