Aeroméxico carried 1.853 million passengers in September 2026 as demand rose faster than capacity, while the Mexican carrier kept its load factor above 87%. Revenue passenger miles increased 3.6% year on year and available seat miles rose 3.4%, with the monthly load factor reaching 87.1%.
The September performance points to continued strength in the airline’s network, particularly in international markets, as the carrier continues to shift capacity toward higher-value routes. Passenger traffic in the month was down 2.1% from a year earlier, but the higher load factor indicates that seats were filled more efficiently despite the modest expansion in supply.
The figures form part of Grupo Aeroméxico S.A.B. de C.V.’s monthly operating data rather than a fleet, route or network expansion announcement. For the first nine months of 2026, the airline also reported cumulative growth in traffic and a load factor improvement over the same period of 2025.
