Istanbul Aviation Forum to bring industry leaders together in April 2027

The Istanbul Aviation Forum will bring airlines, airports, maintenance, repair and overhaul providers, manufacturers, lessors, technology companies and service providers together in Istanbul on 27–28 April 2027. Organisers expect more than 800 participants, including 400 buyers, alongside over 70 speakers and 50 exhibitors, with the programme combining industry discussions, business meetings, networking and an exhibition.

Gabriel Hanot of GH Aviation Consulting will chair the conference. The first confirmed speakers include executives from Fraport Slovenija, Geneva Airport, Gulf Air, Swiss International Air Lines, Aeroméxico and Turkish Technic.

Ten roundtable discussions will address digital transformation in airline and airport operations, airport capacity and infrastructure, passenger experience, workforce recruitment and retention, safety and compliance, risk management, and the future of air transport beyond 2040. The programme will also examine practical challenges facing operators and suppliers, including the adoption of new technologies and the development of aviation capabilities.

An exhibition area will provide space for companies to present products, services and technologies. A matchmaking application is expected to help delegates identify contacts and arrange meetings during the event. The specific Istanbul venue and detailed commercial terms have not yet been disclosed.
