Universal Aviation has unveiled Affinity Aviation as the new global brand for its Evans family-owned FBO and ground-support business at NBAA-BACE 2026 in Las Vegas. The rebranding covers a network of more than 75 FBOs, general aviation terminals, ground-handling offices and supervisory-agent locations across more than 20 countries, while preserving existing ownership, operations and customer relationships.
The business was previously the business-aircraft ground-support arm of Universal Weather and Aviation. Its name change followed the sale of Universal’s trip-support division and an agreement requiring the FBO chain to adopt a different identity within three years to avoid confusion with the purchaser’s Universal-branded operations.
Affinity Aviation will focus on more personalised customer care, higher safety and service standards, stronger global coordination and investment in general-aviation infrastructure. The network has recently expanded in the Middle East and Latin America, although the company has not disclosed specific new facilities or financial details.
The transition will take place in phases across the worldwide network throughout 2027. Digital channels will adopt the new identity first, followed by operational communications, facility signage, uniforms and other customer-facing materials. Existing contacts, processes and information remain valid during the change, with no immediate action required from customers.
