Eclipse Aerospace to acquire Resurgent Aviation Solutions

Eclipse Aerospace plans to acquire Resurgent Aviation Solutions, the Albuquerque, New Mexico-based parts and components supplier supporting its Eclipse 500 and 550 very light jets. The transaction, set to take effect on 9 October 2026, is aimed at keeping a key source of aftermarket support under control as Eclipse maintains the fleet’s parts supply and maintenance continuity.

Resurgent Aviation Solutions has been central to support for the Eclipse fleet, which numbers about 260 aircraft in service. Its product and repair capabilities include parts manufacturing, repair processes and other support functions that help keep the aircraft flying, making the ownership change significant for operators dependent on steady spares availability.

The deal also appears to resolve a supply-chain risk that could have restricted access to critical components for Eclipse aircraft. Transaction terms were not disclosed. By bringing the supplier in-house, Eclipse gains control over a business closely tied to the aftermarket ecosystem for the Eclipse 500/550 and to the broader support network used by owners and service centres.
