Falcon Executive wins GCAA clearance for Dubai Helipark helicopter operations

Falcon Executive Aviation has received UAE General Civil Aviation Authority certification for commercial helicopter operations at its Dubai Helipark facility at Dubai World Central, opening rotorcraft services alongside the group’s business aviation activity. The approval covers operations at the Al Maktoum International Airport area and is intended to improve connectivity between helicopter travel, Dubai and destinations across the wider UAE.

Dubai Helipark is set up for round-the-clock use by prior reservation and can handle helicopters up to 18 metres long and 8.3 tonnes maximum landing weight. The site includes eight parking positions and a maintenance stand, and supports multiple helicopter classes and types, including the AW139, AW169, AW189, H145, Bell 412, Bell 429, Bell 505, Airbus H125 and H130.

The new capability adds a dedicated helicopter gateway at Dubai World Central, where Falcon Executive can link rotorcraft movements with business aviation traffic through its FBO operations. The certification was issued on 1 October, with the launch publicised shortly afterwards, and positions the facility as a more integrated transfer point for passengers using private aviation in Dubai.
