Marabu Airlines to expand A320neo fleet to 14 aircraft in 2027

Marabu Airlines will expand its Airbus A320neo fleet to 14 aircraft in 2027, adding two jets to support wider network growth. The Condor sister carrier is set to move from eight aircraft in 2025 to 12 in 2026 before reaching the higher total the following year.

The fleet increase comes alongside plans for two new routes and more free baggage benefits, although the airline’s growth strategy is centred on keeping the operation around a single aircraft type. Marabu has been building its presence in Germany’s leisure market with A320neo aircraft based at several airports, including Hamburg, Leipzig and Nuremberg.

The planned 2027 expansion follows a year of continued fleet development. By mid-2026, Marabu had already reached a fleet of 12 A320neos, giving it added capacity for schedule growth and route additions without complicating maintenance or training with another aircraft family. The airline, founded in Tallinn in 2022, operates in close commercial alignment with Condor and uses the narrowbody type on short- and medium-haul leisure services.

The latest fleet plan suggests Marabu is still in an expansion phase after a rapid build-up over the past two years. Its A320neo-only structure remains central to that strategy, providing operational simplicity while allowing the carrier to scale frequencies and destinations across its holiday network.
