Riyadh Air has opened ticket sales for nonstop flights between Riyadh and Jakarta, with service due to begin on 16 November. The three-times-weekly route will be flown by Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, connecting King Khalid International Airport with Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and making Jakarta the carrier’s 16th destination on sale.
The schedule gives Riyadh departures at 22:50 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with arrival in Jakarta at 12:00 the next day. Return flights leave Jakarta at 15:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and reach Riyadh at 20:15 local time.
The new service extends Riyadh Air’s network into Southeast Asia and adds a direct capital-to-capital link between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia. The route is positioned to serve business travel, tourism and religious demand, while giving the carrier a further long-haul option from its Riyadh hub.
Riyadh Air also indicated that more destinations will follow in the coming days and weeks, underlining a wider expansion programme as it continues to build out its international schedule.
