LATAM prepares Brazil network launch with first Embraer E195-E2 flights

LATAM is preparing to bring the Embraer E195-E2 into its Brazil network from late November, with up to 14 aircraft to be introduced gradually between November 2026 and March 2027. The initial deployment covers 42 domestic routes and will expand the carrier’s Brazil footprint to 67 destinations, including new services to Cabo Frio, Ji-Paraná, Macaé and Rondonópolis.

The aircraft will be configured with 136 seats in a 2-2 layout and used to open thinner markets, add frequencies and replace larger narrowbodies where demand does not justify them. Early route plans include Brasília–Ribeirão Preto, Curitiba–Londrina, Curitiba–Cuiabá and Campinas–Boa Vista, alongside additional services from São Paulo Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro Galeão and Porto Alegre.

The first aircraft delivery ceremony is expected at Embraer’s São José dos Campos facility, while commercial operations are scheduled to begin around the end of November or early December, depending on the timetable referenced in recent coverage. The E195-E2 is LATAM Brazil’s first Embraer family aircraft in its main domestic fleet, widening the airline’s options for more direct regional links and higher-frequency domestic flying.
