Air Astana opens Astana–Bangkok sales for December launch

Air Astana has opened ticket sales for a new direct Astana–Bangkok service beginning 11 December 2026. The route will operate twice a week on Airbus A321LR aircraft, linking Kazakhstan’s capital with Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport and adding a nonstop capital-to-capital option ahead of the winter holiday season.

The schedule will expand Air Astana’s existing Kazakhstan–Thailand network, which already includes daily Almaty–Bangkok flights. With the new service, total traffic between the two countries will rise to 20 weekly flights across four routes, reflecting stronger leisure demand and broader network growth in the market.

Flights are set to run on Tuesdays and Fridays, with published timetables showing evening departures from Astana and overnight arrivals in Bangkok. Return sectors are scheduled for the following morning, giving the route a travel time of just under eight hours eastbound and a little over eight hours westbound. Economy round-trip fares start at 244,616 tenge, while business-class tickets begin at 969,496 tenge.
