Qatar Airways to resume four Saudi Arabia routes from late October

Qatar Airways will restore services to Qassim, Taif, Yanbu and Tabuk in Saudi Arabia under its winter 2026/27 schedule, reopening four city pairs from Doha as it lifts weekly Saudi capacity to more than 155 flights. The first route returns on 25 October, with the remaining services phased back through early January, giving passengers additional access to Hamad International Airport and the carrier’s wider network.

Qassim will resume first with twice-weekly operations from 25 October, followed by Taif from 31 October. Yanbu is due to restart on 2 January 2027 and Tabuk on 3 January 2027, with each route operating twice a week. The reinstatements will again connect these Saudi cities with Doha, Qatar Airways’ main hub for onward travel.

The winter schedule lifts Saudi Arabia operations by more than 10% compared with the summer programme. Bookings are already open, and the phased rollout extends the carrier’s regional network rebuild ahead of the peak travel season.
