Riyadh Air has launched a codeshare partnership with Saudia, giving passengers booking international journeys via Riyadh access to a wider domestic network inside Saudi Arabia. The arrangement allows selected Saudia-operated internal routes to be sold under a Riyadh Air flight number, improving one-ticket connections through the capital as the new airline continues to build out its international schedule.
The partnership covers domestic points including Abha, Dammam, Gassim, Jeddah, Madinah and Tabuk via Riyadh. For Riyadh Air, the deal strengthens onward access beyond its own network by tapping Saudia’s established domestic reach. For travellers, it simplifies itineraries that combine Riyadh Air’s international services with domestic sectors on a single booking.
The move also supports Riyadh’s role as a hub by linking inbound international traffic more efficiently into Saudi Arabia’s internal network. Riyadh Air’s app already includes support for eligible codeshare journeys, indicating that the commercial framework for the new partnership is already being integrated into its distribution channels.
