One Pacific Airways is developing a Micronesia network that would connect the Federated States of Micronesia with Palau and Majuro, with an initial fleet plan centred on a Cessna 337, followed by De Havilland Canada Dash 8 turboprops and Embraer ERJ 145 jets for longer regional sectors. The start-up’s proposed route map includes Pohnpei, Chuuk, Yap and Kosrae, alongside regional links to Majuro and Palau.
Da Yang Corporation backs the project and has invested more than $200 million in fisheries activity on Kosrae. Beyond passenger flights, One Pacific Airways wants to carry cargo and provide medical evacuation, search-and-rescue support and maritime surveillance. The concept points to a broader multi-role operation for a region where air links are sparse and operational flexibility carries commercial value.
The plan remains at an early stage, with no binding agreement or route launch date in place yet. Talks with potential partners are continuing, and the carrier has not set out firm schedules or regulatory milestones.
