Bulgaria Air will add extra Sofia–Burgas services for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 in Burgas, with up to two flights a day from 2 to 19 May 2027. The schedule will use Airbus A220 aircraft in Economy and Business Class, and ticket sales for the additional frequencies opened on 25 August 2026.
The expanded programme includes extra afternoon departures before the contest alongside the regular evening service, followed by morning Burgas–Sofia flights after the final. Bulgaria Air designed the timetable to handle fan travel and support onward connections through Sofia for international passengers. Burgas is preparing for one of Europe’s biggest live events, and the extra domestic link is intended to strengthen access to the Black Sea host city during the contest period.
