Nepal Airlines will add a fourth weekly Kathmandu–Tokyo Narita service from 18 September 2026, increasing capacity on the route through 20 November 2026. The seasonal adjustment will be operated with the airline’s A330-200 and affects the carrier’s late-September to November schedule.
The extra frequency is planned for the autumn travel period, when demand typically rises on the Nepal-Japan link. Kathmandu–Narita remains one of Nepal Airlines’ key long-haul routes, serving both point-to-point traffic and travellers connecting onward via Tokyo.
The change is currently framed as a planned schedule increase rather than a permanent network expansion. Nepal Airlines already operates the route with three weekly flights, and the additional rotation is intended to run only for the specified seasonal window.
