Capital Airlines plans to resume its Hangzhou-Qingdao-Vancouver service on 2 October, restoring its North America operation after a suspension. The widebody route will use an Airbus A330 and reconnect Hangzhou and Qingdao with Vancouver, reviving one of the few China-Canada long-haul links in the market.
The Qingdao-Vancouver sector is expected to operate five times a week, with a scheduled block time of 11 hours 20 minutes westbound. Published fare data show economy tickets from 4,372 yuan, while the route is positioned as a contributor to business, tourism and visiting-friends traffic between eastern China and Canada.
The service also strengthens Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport’s long-haul network and returns Capital Airlines to the North America market after a suspension. The revival comes amid broader efforts to rebuild China-Canada air links and improve international connectivity for Shandong and neighbouring provinces.
