Eurowings will restart Dubai services from Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne/Bonn on 25 October, ending a nearly eight-month suspension linked to security disruption in the Middle East. The Lufthansa subsidiary will bring back the routes with the start of the winter schedule, restoring a key leisure connection between Germany and the Gulf hub.
The carrier cut the service after the conflict-related upheaval that followed the joint US-Israeli attack on Iran at the end of February. Alongside the network return, Eurowings plans to make its new Premium-Business seats bookable on Dubai flights from 1 December, with the product being rolled out across its Airbus A320neo fleet.
The Dubai restart fits into a broader recovery in the airline’s Middle East programme after months of disruption to schedules and airspace. Eurowings is positioning the route back into its winter timetable as demand normalises on leisure-heavy medium-haul services from Germany.
