AIR ONE has appointed Ilya Gavrilin as Business Development Director APAC, with the Hong Kong-based role focused on expanding the carrier’s scheduled and charter freighter business across Asia-Pacific. The move centres on AIR ONE’s Boeing 777F and 747F operations and broadens the group’s commercial push in a region where it is building network reach and customer ties.
Gavrilin will lead strategic commercial growth, strengthen client partnerships and support network expansion for the group’s freighter services from its regional headquarters in Hong Kong. AIR ONE’s managed fleet comprises 11 Boeing 747-400Fs and two Boeing 777Fs.
He previously served as vice president of EURES Express in Hong Kong and spent more than 12 years with Volga-Dnepr Airlines and Volga-Dnepr Group in senior commercial roles across Europe and Asia-Pacific. AIR ONE chairman Guneet Mirchandani described his experience across major regional markets as an asset for the carrier’s expansion plans and new business opportunities.
