SWISS to upgauge Geneva-Heathrow service with A320neos

SWISS will replace two Geneva-based Airbus A220-300s with two larger A320neos on the Geneva–London Heathrow route for the summer 2027 schedule. The switch will add 35 seats per flight, lifting capacity from 145 to 180 seats on one of the carrier’s strongest Geneva markets.

Two A320neos currently based in Zürich will move to Geneva, while the A220-300s will remain in the SWISS fleet and transfer to Zürich. The change is scheduled for the summer 2027 season, which runs from 28 March to 30 October 2027.

The move increases capacity without adding frequencies and reflects a stronger focus on gauge in a high-demand business and leisure corridor. SWISS has not yet published full operational details for the route, including timings or any wider schedule changes.
