Japan Airlines will lift Europe capacity by 16% in the winter 2026/27 schedule, with more Airbus A350-1000 operations on its Tokyo Haneda services to London and Paris. The airline will also run daily Haneda-Helsinki flights, while the Haneda-Doha service remains suspended throughout the season.
The network update concentrates on JAL’s long-haul operation out of Tokyo, where the A350-1000 continues to replace older widebody aircraft on selected European routes. London and Paris are set to see the strongest premium-cabin deployment, reflecting the carrier’s focus on higher-yield winter demand between Japan and Europe.
Beyond Europe, JAL plans to restart Tokyo Narita-Shanghai Pudong and increase Haneda-Hong Kong frequencies around the Chinese New Year period. The wider timetable shift points to a seasonal rebalancing of capacity toward routes with stronger traffic potential, while keeping the Doha suspension in place for the full winter period.
