Spirit former headquarters sells for $93.25 million in bankruptcy auction

Spirit Airlines’ former headquarters campus in Dania Beach, Florida, has been sold for $93.25 million in a bankruptcy-court auction to DPC HoldCo LLC, an affiliate of Boston-based Hill City Capital. The property at 1731 Radiant Drive in Dania Pointe includes four buildings, among them a main office block and a pilot-flight-simulator facility, and the transaction remains subject to court approval.

The winning bid topped a prior stalking-horse offer of $88 million after competitive bidding in Spirit’s liquidation process. The airline ceased operations on 2 May 2026, and the campus sale forms part of the effort to dispose of remaining assets. A hearing to approve the deal is scheduled for 19 August 2026.

The campus was developed as a purpose-built corporate headquarters only recently, making the sale price a sharp discount from its original positioning as a major office complex. Court filings also identified an alternate bidder, while the auction process covered the full campus rather than a single building. The sale will not close until the bankruptcy court grants approval.
