HALO AirFinance has priced its inaugural $390.2 million aviation loan asset-backed securitization, HALOAN 2026-1, the first ABS issuance from the platform. The four-class, fixed-rate secured note deal was structured in Fort Lauderdale and Tokyo, drew more than four times oversubscription and carries a legal final maturity in August 2041.
Citi acted as sole structuring agent and lead bookrunner, with Mizuho and Citizens as joint bookrunners. KBRA rated the notes, which include a $295.37 million Class A tranche, $35.67 million Class B, $28.62 million Class C and $30.54 million Class D.
Proceeds will fund the purchase of a portfolio of 33 loans with an aggregate remaining balance of about $427.2 million and a weighted average remaining term of roughly 3.6 years. HALO AirFinance, a joint venture between GA Telesis and Tokyo Century Corporation, focuses on customised lending for airlines, lessors and investors across aircraft and engine collateral.
