Boeing delivered 53 commercial jets in July 2026, slipping back behind Airbus after a brief stretch of stronger monthly output. Airbus handed over 67 aircraft in the same month, leaving the European planemaker ahead in both July deliveries and year-to-date performance.
Boeing’s July total fell from 64 in June, though it still exceeded the 48 jets delivered in July 2025. The company reached 367 deliveries through the first seven months of 2026, compared with Airbus’s 418.
The monthly figures matter for airlines, lessors and investors because aircraft handovers are a key measure of production performance and cash generation. Boeing’s July result also shows that the recent improvement in its delivery pace slowed after gains in May and June, while Airbus maintained a wider lead over the course of the year.
