LATAM posts more than US$4.1 billion in second-quarter revenue

LATAM Airlines Group reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of about US$4.1 billion to US$4.2 billion and net profit of US$125 million, as strong passenger demand, cargo performance and capacity growth offset a sharp rise in fuel costs. The result covered the April-to-June period and came as the carrier also lifted its full-year earnings outlook.

Passenger revenue accounted for the largest share of the quarter at about US$3.6 billion, while cargo revenue contributed roughly US$510 million. Higher fuel expenses remained the main drag on performance, with the airline facing more than US$800 million in additional fuel costs during the quarter versus the previous year. Even so, LATAM kept its business profitable and upgraded its 2026 adjusted EBITDA forecast to US$4.1 billion to US$4.4 billion from a prior range of US$3.8 billion to US$4.2 billion.

The earnings release underscores how the Latin American network carrier is preserving margin discipline in a volatile cost environment. Revenue figures varied slightly across outlets, but all pointed to a record-like quarterly top line above US$4.1 billion.
