Allegiant Travel Company will begin offering complimentary inflight beverages on all flights from 1 August, while preparing to introduce a new premium cabin, Allegiant First, on select aircraft in spring 2027. The Las Vegas-based carrier is expanding its onboard service with free soft drinks, juice and water for all passengers, alongside a phased rollout of upgraded seating that will be sold from mid-August.
Allways Rewards Visa cardholders will receive access to additional complimentary drink choices, including coffee, protein shakes, sports drinks or an alcohol-and-mixer option, limited to one beverage per flight and capped at $16 in value. Allegiant First will feature priority check-in and boarding and will sit alongside, rather than replace, the airline’s existing Allegiant Extra product.
The new cabin is expected to broaden Allegiant’s seating portfolio as the ultra-low-cost carrier moves further toward bundled and premium offerings. Secondary reporting indicates the first-class-style cabin will use an eight-seat, two-by-two layout on select aircraft and is likely to be tied to incoming Boeing 737 MAX deliveries, although the airline has not yet disclosed fares, routes or aircraft types.
