US-Bangla Airlines has formally locked in a 21-aircraft Boeing expansion, the largest fleet build in its history. The package combines 15 737-8s and six 737-800s under leasing structures, with deliveries due by the end of 2027, giving the carrier fresh lift for network growth across South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia and the Middle East. The move turns capacity into strategy: more gauge flexibility, wider stage-length coverage and tighter frequency on trunk and secondary international sectors. Planned additions include Bengaluru, Colombo, Kathmandu, Beijing, Penang, Kuwait and Madinah, subject to regulatory approvals. The airline is also pairing the fleet programme with training for 200 pilots and 100 certified aircraft maintenance engineers.
