RECARO Holding has folded its Cape Town composites unit into the group as RECARO Composites, turning AAT Composites into a branded platform for seating structures and other lightweight parts. The rename is designed to deepen composite know-how across Aircraft Seating, Gaming and Rail, with the company targeting lighter assemblies, better product performance and lower emissions as it pushes into next-generation seats and eVTOL applications. RECARO says the business brings more than 40 years of composite design and manufacturing experience, and management frames the move as an operating integration, not a cosmetic change, aimed at scaling materials capability inside the wider seating portfolio.
