Porter Airlines is refreshing comfort across its 29 De Havilland Dash 8-400 turboprops with Expliseat’s TiSeat 2V, pairing lighter seats with a full cabin reset. The retrofit keeps the 78-seat, two-by-two layout and legroom unchanged, but adds redesigned seat and back cushions, updated tray tables, an integrated device holder, LED mood lighting, LED reading lights and new carpeting. The first aircraft are already flying, and the airline expects the fleet programme to finish this fall, extending its elevated-economy strategy while preserving fuel burn and emissions gains from the lighter seat structure.
