PPG Aerospace launched PPG AEROVIEW™ on 15 July 2026, a web-based virtual aircraft painter enabling business and general aviation operators to preview and customize paint schemes in real time using 3D rendering. The tool replaces physical color brochures, allowing users to select from multiple aircraft models and apply colors from PPG’s comprehensive aerospace library to visualize custom liveries with precision. Currently limited to U.S. aerospace coatings products, the platform reduces design uncertainty, minimizes costly repaint errors, and accelerates project approvals for designers, fleet managers, and maintenance planners. Designs can be saved, shared, and archived for future reference, integrating with PPG LIVERYLAB™ studio services to support livery design projects.
