Embraer officially launched the Phenom 300EV on 14 July 2026, marking the largest aircraft to feature Garmin’s Emergency Autoland system. The new variant integrates this automated emergency landing capability, which selects a suitable airfield, avoids terrain and weather, and executes a full stop without pilot input, alongside a rudder-by-wire flight control system replacing traditional mechanical rudder links. This architecture enhances single-pilot safety and handling precision, particularly during incapacitation or emergency scenarios. Priced at $13.9 million, the jet retains the Phenom 300’s core performance: PW535E engines, 453-knot cruise, 2,270-nm range, and a 6–8 passenger cabin. Deliveries begin in 2028, establishing a new benchmark for safety automation in the light jet sector.
