Airbus delivers 74 aircraft in October, needs 249 more to meet 2026 target

Airbus delivered 74 commercial aircraft to 45 customers in October, taking its total for the first ten months of 2026 to 621 aircraft delivered to 91 customers. The manufacturer also recorded 202 gross orders during the month. To reach its annual delivery target of around 870 aircraft, Airbus needs to hand over approximately 249 more in November and December.

The target, reaffirmed in October, requires an average of about 125 deliveries a month for the rest of the year. Airbus delivered 208 aircraft in the final two months of 2025, so meeting its 2026 goal would require a faster year-end pace.

The October order figure is gross and does not account for cancellations. Airbus’s monthly data did not provide a delivery breakdown by aircraft family or identify factors affecting the delivery rate.
