Airbus delivered 74 commercial aircraft to 45 customers in October, bringing its total for the first ten months of 2026 to 621. The manufacturer needs about 249 further deliveries in November and December to reach its full-year target of around 870, reaffirmed in its nine-month results. That would require an average of roughly 125 aircraft a month over the final two months, compared with 74 delivered in October.
The target is approximate, so the remaining 249 is an estimate rather than a firm commitment. Reaching it would take Airbus past its previous annual delivery record of 863 aircraft, set in 2019.
Airbus also recorded 202 gross commercial aircraft orders in October. Its cumulative delivery total reached 91 customers by the end of the month. The monthly figures do not specify delivery destinations or provide a breakdown of the factors affecting the pace of handovers.
