Turkish Airlines has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Turkish National Olympic Committee covering 2027 and 2028, becoming an official sponsor of the Turkish Olympic team. The partnership applies to international competitions including the 2027 European Youth Olympic Festival in Brașov, the 2027 European Games in Istanbul and the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympics, scheduled for 14 to 30 July. Financial terms and specific support arrangements were not disclosed.
The agreement was signed at Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul headquarters on 2 November by chief executive and Executive Committee member Ahmet Olmuştur and committee president Veli Ozan Çakır. The committee described the deal as formalising a longstanding cooperation.
The listed events span youth, continental and Olympic-level competition. The European Youth Olympic Festival is due to take place in Brașov, Romania, while Istanbul will host the 2027 European Games. The partnership also extends to the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
The announcement did not specify whether Turkish Airlines will provide transport for athletes or equipment, or detail any other operational benefits. It also gave no value for the sponsorship.
