Philippine Airlines is operating its Airbus A350-1000 every day between Manila and San Francisco, placing the aircraft on all weekly flights during the year-end travel period. The daily service, operating as PR104 and PR105, gives the airline’s newest long-haul cabin a regular presence on a key North American route, which also connects passengers through Manila to destinations across the Philippines and Asia-Pacific.
From 1 November, PR104 is scheduled to leave Manila at 23:15 and arrive in San Francisco at 19:45 local time. The return flight, PR105, departs San Francisco at 22:40 and arrives in Manila at 05:35 the following day. The departure times differ from the schedule in place through 31 October.
PAL’s 382-seat A350-1000 has 42 Business Class suites, 24 Premium Economy seats and 316 Economy seats. The cabin includes 4K entertainment, Wi-Fi, in-seat power and USB-A and USB-C charging. The airline also identifies improved fuel efficiency, operational flexibility and cargo capacity among the aircraft’s characteristics.
San Francisco serves as a gateway for the Filipino-American community on the US West Coast and as a connecting point for PAL passengers travelling onward from Manila. The airline’s confirmation establishes daily A350-1000 service on the route but does not specify an end date for the aircraft’s deployment.
