Spain’s Air and Space Force conducted and coordinated MADRISAR-SATER 26, a land-based search-and-rescue exercise held on 27 October in Hoyo de Manzanares, northwest of Madrid. The scenario simulated an aircraft accident and concluded with the recovery of 11 passengers: eight volunteers and three mannequins. The Madrid Aeronautical Rescue Coordination Centre (ARCC), part of the Air Search and Rescue Service, coordinated the response.
