AerCap leases two Boeing 777-300ERSF freighters to Turkish Airlines

AerCap has signed lease agreements with Turkish Airlines for two Boeing 777-300ERSF converted freighters, with deliveries scheduled between March and September 2027. Both aircraft will undergo conversion at Etihad Engineering’s MRO hub in Abu Dhabi before joining the airline’s fleet, where they will add cargo capacity. The deal expands AerCap’s customer base for the 777-300ERSF programme.

The agreements do not disclose lease terms or financial details, and Turkish Airlines has not specified how it will deploy the aircraft. AerCap has positioned the Abu Dhabi facility as a conversion platform serving customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The first 777-300ERSF was delivered to launch customer Kalitta Air in September 2025. AerCap has also delivered aircraft to Fly Meta and signed lease agreements with Ethiopian Airlines and China Southern Group.
